Claim your church page
Most listings here were built from public records rather than by the churches themselves. If one of them is yours, take it over and make it right.
This listing has methodist-central-hall.org.uk on file. An email address at that domain confirms the claim on its own, with no waiting.
Why your church is already listed
A directory that only holds churches which signed up is not much use to someone new to a city. So we built the map from open data first: Wikidata and OpenStreetMap, both openly licensed and credited in our footer.
That gives a real name, a real location and, where the source had one, an address, a phone number or a website. It gives nothing else. We do not invent service times, and a listing nobody has claimed says so plainly.
Claiming it
- Find the page Search the map for your church and open its page.
- Press "Claim this church" Tell us who you are and how you are connected to the church.
- Verification We email you a link to confirm the address. If that address is on your church own domain, the page is yours as soon as you follow it. If it is not, someone reads the request by hand, usually the same day.
- The page becomes yours You get an account, the listing loses its unclaimed label, and you can edit it whenever something changes.
What changes when you claim it
You decide what the page says. You can add service times, photos, accessibility details, a live stream link, your events and your news. The unclaimed notice disappears, which tells visitors the information came from the church itself.
What does not change: the address history, and the record of where the original data came from. That provenance stays, because it is how anyone can check what we hold.
